How BJP / TFI / Bhakts twisted the facts to prove that Rohith Vemula was a dangerous person with a deranged mind: Fact : The fight between ABVP and ASA had nothing to do with the protest against Yakub Memon's hanging. ABVP president Sushil Kumar had put up a post calling ASA members ‘goons’ after the student’s organisation screened Nakul Shawney’s documentary titled "Muzaffarnagar Abhi Baki Hai". Smriti Irani in her press conference claimed the minister in question is an OBC hence it is not a caste based issue and university found Rohit guilty; she deliberately missed that the first inquiry by the University didn't find Rohith and 4 others guilty of the allegation made by the ABVP leader. Witnessed claimed that they never saw ASA members beating Sushil Kumar. Univarsity Doctor and hospital report claim the same. She also missed that Union Minister Bandaru Dattatreya wrote to HRD ministry that ASA is a group of casteist and anti-nationalist people and its members assaulted the "ABVP leader". HRD Ministry wrote 5 letters to the University within 6 weeks and as a result, Rohith and 4 others were expelled from the University on the basis of the same inquiry which has earlier given them a clean chit in the whole matter. Every document and report is out in public except the court order which pressurizes the chancellor to 'take action against Rohit or face wrath of court' and is kept 'secret' for unknown reasons.
